Future Memory by P.M.H. Atwater.
|
||||
This book, written by a woman who had 3 near-death experiences in 1977, is the culmination of decades of research into the phenomenon of the "brain shift" that occurs with both NDE experiencers and those who experience it through other avenues. Drawing on the best thinking in science and metaphysics, the conclusions are not only fascinating reading on their own, but also provide much insight and support for many of the statements and facts contained in the Operation Terra material. |

Widely known and loved for his clarity, humor, and imagination, Bentov sheds new light on the familiar world of phenomena, giving us a wonderful new view of ourselves in an expanded, conscious, holistic universe. |

The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot This book pulls together the work of many people and helps to explain the holographic nature of the universe, our existence, and our brains! Written for the lay person, it explains many of the concepts contained in the Operation Terra material. |

Wholeness and the Implicate Order by David Bohm A groundbreaking work by a brilliant physicist, which demonstrates how many of the principles in the Operation Terra material are scientifically valid. A major influence on the thinking of many others, it reveals the nature of the universe to be one of wholeness and interconnectedness, and provided the basis for understanding the emergence of phenomena from a pre-existent state into manifestation and expression. |

| Still Here: Embracing Aging, Changing, and Dying, by Ram Dass Despite this book's focus on aging and dying, it comes as close as anything I have seen to being a practical manual for handling the kinds of changes we are undergoing now, as we prepare to leave the life we have known and make the transition to another level of reality -- in our case, 4D and Terra. If you have difficulty with letting go of your attachments or need some support for shifting your perspective from Ego-centeredness to Soul-centeredness, this book offers useful parallels to our process. Ram Dass teaches by sharing anecdotes from his life and that of others. He illustrates ways of facing down our fears and appropriate attitudes to take as our bodies, minds, and lives prepare for the next step in our journey. His description of breath meditation parallels the direction given in the Hosts' Messages, and his examples for increasing Awareness are useful in learning to live in the moment, as it presents. . |

Lamsa Bible by George Mamishisho Lamsa This is the version of the Bible that I prefer to use for a reference, as it was translated from the original Aramaic by a man who lived in a community where Aramaic is spoken. It corrects many of the mistranslations found in other English-language versions. For example, when Jesus said "Eloi, eloi, lama sabacthani," other Bibles translate it as "My Lord, my Lord, why hast thou forsaken me?" but Lamsa correctly translates it as "My Lord, my Lord, for this I was spared!" |

The Bible and Flying Saucers by Barry Downing This book, by an ordained minister, provides many examples of spaceships in the Bible and how they influenced human history as recorded there. Somewhat conservative, but still insightful and thought-provoking. |

| The Nag Hammadi Library by James M. Robinson
These documents, hidden for nearly 2,000 years, provide insight into many of the lost teachings of the early Gnostic Christians, including the startling revelations that Jesus was more fond of Mary Magdalene than any of the other disciples, often kissing her on the lips, and that there was "the Son of Man" and "the Son of the Son of Man," revealing that Jesus had fathered at least a son. These rediscovered fragments reveal just how much early knowledge was eliminated at the Council of Nicea and declared heretical at that time. |

| Don't Know Much About the Bible: Everything You Need to Know About the Good Book but Never Learned by Kenneth C. Davis This book is a wonderfully entertaining read, with much insight softened by the liberal use of humor. It helps put the Bible into a more realistic perspective. Well-researched and well-written. I enjoyed it very much! |

The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran An eternal favorite, providing many insights and memorable passages from a master writer and mystic. |

The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery This book is one of my all-time favorites. If you haven't read it, don't be deceived by its childlike appearance. There is much wisdom here, for people of all ages, and many statements worth quoting, such as, "It is only with the heart that one sees rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye." |
